Melissa has been in the fitness industry for over ten years. She holds qualifications as a Personal Trainer, Pilates and Barre instructor. Melissa loves music and thinks that it is a powerful motivational tool for exercise, adding an element of fun and creativity. First introduced to Pilates back home in Trinidad & Tobago, Melissa then went on to study and qualify as a STOTT instructor in Toronto, Canada. She has been a Pilates advocate ever since.

Melissa’s fitness philosophy is “Motivation is what gets you started, habit is what keeps you going”. Consistency is key, exercise should be a part of your weekly routine. Choose something that you enjoy doing. It should be challenging but rewarding to see what your body can achieve.
